BIO
Nicco Watson, better known by his stage name “NICCO PRYCE” is one of
the hip-hop genre’s fresh new young voices. Haling from Pittsburgh, PA,
at 17 years of age, Nicco is poised to carve a place in music history
with his unique brand of sound. He is the middle child between a
younger brother age 14, and an older sister age 22. He has always
dreamed of being in the spotlight and began to write lyrics and make
rap music at the age of 9.
He was truly inspired by the movie which depicted the life and times of
the legendary R&B group, The Temptations. He and his close
friends began to emulate the synchronized dance moves that the
R&B pioneers performed on stage. The movie sparked his interest
in both the performance and the business sides of the music industry.
He went on to receive further inspiration from studying the lives and
careers of rappers like Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Dr. Dre, Eminem,
Lil Wayne, T.I., Kanye West, Easy E and Jay Z, to name a few. He does
not promote guns, violence or anything negative. He promotes positive
subject matter that is inspirational. He knows the key ingredient to
success lies in the ability to connect with the real people that
actually buy the music. His dream is to create hit songs that appeal to
the masses and gradually go on to attain a worldwide audience. He wants
to make songs that hit the billboard charts and albums that go
platinum. He will always strive to become the GOAT in the hip hop
industry. He knows he is young and that he has a lot to learn about the
business. His goal is to get better and better always realizing there
is room for improvement. He evolves daily and is not simply a human
being but rather a human becoming the best he can be day by day.
He has grown tremendously in his relationship with GOD and would like
to express the things he has learned about our Creator in his music.
Among the many revelations he has gained, one is a true understanding
that GOD is love. His music is his gift to the masses and he hopes it
will be embraced and esteemed as such. His primary objectives are to
provide inspirational lyrics over great music to deliver uplifting
messages that promote and encourage perseverance and mental toughness,
and the ability to overcome adversity and achieve success in life.
He seeks to reach people from all walks of life and change lives
through his positive, uplifting and inspirational music. He devotes
most of his spare time to making music and intends to raise the bar in
the hip hop game. His goal is to master the game and assist people in
making their dreams come true. His music possesses sincerity,
originality, integrity and creativity, while also being very thought
provoking and heartfelt. He is determined to positively change lives
through the medium of music.
